This book chronicles the course and events that began as a simple clean-up chore and grew into a long-term art project and spiritual journey. Over the years, a long-neglected backyard was transformed into a place of spiritual retreat and a point of departure for spiritual expansion. The narrative – told mostly through photographs and the occasional poem – also includes the role of animals, namely, the dogs that have inhabited my life. It ends with a photographic record of a walking meditation and a poem.
